Are your treats and toys safe for rabbits, guinea pigs and other small pets?

Yes, all of our treat and toys are pesticide free and safe for consumption. We only use all natural items palm, vine and wood. Any dyed pieces are dyed with fruit and fruit juices then thoroughly dried. All toys are made from untreated woods and safe to chew.
All treats and toys should be given with appropriate human supervision.

How long will dehydrated treats last?

Most home dehydrated food can last for months and even up to a year when stored correctly!

We dehydrate on a made to order basis so your order is as fresh as possible. Here are some storage tips to get the most of your treats.
1. Keep at no higher then 60°F.
2. Airtight containers will hold freshness longer.
3. Store out of direct sunlight.
4. Fruit has a longer life then vegetables and herbs. (1 Yr vs 6-8 months).

RHDV2 and your rabbits safety.

Rabbit Hemorrhagic Disease (RHDV2) is a highly contagious and fatal disease that is caused by a calicivirus and, as the name suggests, affects rabbits. Originally RHDV was known as a foreign animal disease found in wild European rabbits.

We closely monitor reported cases of RHDV2 and take into consideration it's proximity to us. Because we care about the quality and safety of our treats, certain products are contained in a quarantine period before they're offered for sale.

Are your treats organic?

Our home grown products are done without using synthetic chemicals such as pesticides and artificial fertilisers. For other fruits and vegetables we source quality, fresh fruit regularly. We are mindful about organic produce, though, will opt for whichever is available and of the best quality at the time of purchase.

Pet Obesity

Helping to support your pet’s quality of life is to keep them at a healthy weight. Many rabbit and other small pets can easily become overweight or obese, which can lead to serious health issues such as arthritis and heart disease.

Maintaining your pet’s healthy weight includes a combination of nutrition, exercise and preventative care. One of the most important steps a pet owner can take when maintaining a pet’s healthy weight is to follow the feeding guidelines provided on packaging and measure out the appropriate amount of food at each meal to prevent overeating.

Another way is to be mindful of the treats you're offering and how much they're consuming. The recommended serving of treats is 2 per day. Finally, make note of your pets weight during vet checkups to maintain consistency.

Returns and exchanges.

Please confirm your shipping address at checkout. If the item is returned to me, you then may choose to have it shipped again to you, repaying appropriate shipping rates.

We don't accept returns, exchanges, or cancellations.
But please contact me if you have any problems with your order and we will work to resolve any issues you may have.
